Little Jorgia Welch has a tiny birthmark on her tummy which is the perfect shape of a love heart.
This is a strange yet adorable occurrence considering she was born almost a year ago, in the month for lovers and Valentine’s Day, February.
It was mum Jayne Welch, 37, who revealed that baby Jorgia was the talk of the hospital when she was born thanks to her very special birthmark.
“The heart-shaped birthmark was on Jorgia’s stomach and the midwives couldn’t believe it when they saw it,” said the Stoke-on-Trent mother.
“When she was first born it was just a little red mark, but in the shape of a perfect heart.”
Her mother said doctors were stunned to see the tiny, perfectly formed symbol on their newborn.
“We knew we were going to have a girl and the pediatricians were shocked when they saw a red mark on Jorgia’s little belly,” said the 37-year-old Staffordshire woman.
They were told by doctors that birthmarks often disappear with time with newborns, but Jorgia is again against the possibility.
The baby, almost a year old, still carries the sign of love to this day.
“Since then it has continued to grow naturally,” said his mother. “It was pretty flat at first but growing and lifting a bit now.”
He added: “Doctors thought it would fade, but it didn’t go away or fade. Jorgia grew up fast, grown with him and in perfect proportions.”
Her mother liked her daughter’s unique birthmark so much that she plans to ‘get a matching tattoo in the same place’.
“We love our baby girl who was born in February and her very unique love heart birthmark,” she said.
Talking about February, Jorgia was born on the 22nd of February 2022.
So his birth date literally reads 22-2-22.
And if numerology is anything to go by, number two is “supreme feminine power,” which also “represents grace and strength,” according to Numerology.com.
The site says number two is a “cooperative” number, which aims “to restore peace and balance to a relationship or situation”.
A kind of couple’s first child, which, for many, will be the last piece of the puzzle in life.
But, if you don’t believe in numerology (or just don’t like trash ‘science’), then it’s a cool coincidence.
