The Organizing Committee of the King Salman Cup for Clubs Championship in the Arab Football Association announced the list of clubs participating in the tournament during the first and second rounds.
The list of first-round clubs included the Royal Moroccan Army, the Egyptian Vanguards of the Army, Sfaxien, Al-Ittihad Monastiri from Tunisia, the Algerian youth of Saoura, the Saudi youth, Qatar and the Emirati unit.
Next to Al-Seeb and Al-Nahda from Amman, the youth of Jordan, the Iraqi Air Force, Muharraq and Manama from Bahrain, the Syrian Tishreen, the Palestinian youth of Hebron, the Lebanese Tower, the Mauritanian Nouadhibou, Al-Ittihad and the people of Tripoli from Libya, Al-Hilal and Al-Merikh from Sudan, and the Kuwaiti Kuwait, with the Yemeni Fahaman who qualified from the preliminary round.
6 clubs qualify from the first round, in addition to 10 clubs that qualify directly, and they include the champions of the major Arab leagues, namely Moroccan Wydad, Tunisian Esperance, Zamalek of Egypt, Algerian youth Belouizdad, Saudi Hilal, Qatari Al Sadd and Iraqi police, in addition to Moroccan Raja, the champion of the previous version with its runner-up, Al Ittihad Saudi Arabia, in addition to To the Saudi victory.
The Arab Championship draw ceremony will take place in Riyadh, where the Organizing Committee welcomed all clubs participating in the King Salman Cup for Clubs.
The committee indicated that it is looking forward to a distinguished edition of the tournament, especially since the clubs were chosen according to the FIFA classification of countries for the month of December 2022, stressing that workshops will be held to set the scheduling of matches, starting from the end of this month.
