Thyam Denay participated in the Thionville international mini tournament in the under 66 kg category. Judokas came from Germany, Switzerland and… Mongolia. The Stiring-Wendel judoka was able to climb to the round of 16, which he lost against a Swiss judoka. At the end, he lost his repechage fight against a judoka from Vaucluse. He took a good 7th place.
