Tom Sizemore, Voice Actor for GTA Vice City, Passes Away at 61

Tom SizemoreTom Sizemore, best known in the world of video games as the voice actor for the villain Sonny Forelli in GTA Vice City, has died at the age of 61. Also known for his roles in the films Saving Private Ryan and Black Hawk Down, the actor died on Friday, March 3, at his home after suffering a brain aneurysm as a result of a stroke the previous month.

Tommy Vercetti Voice Actor Also Passed Away In Less Than A Year

As reported by TMZ, Tom Sizemore was rushed to the ER at 2 a.m. on February 18 and was listed in critical condition. Charles Lago, Tom’s representative, stated that his condition had not improved after a week in a coma in the ICU.

Sizemore played the iconic role of Sonny Forelli, a charismatic crime boss who manipulated leading man Tommy Vercetti throughout GTA Vice City. Sizemore’s vocal performance shone on several of Forelli’s famous lines, most notably one in which he tells Tommy, “That’s my style because I seem to have this problem in my life with dodgy people. Don’t be an unreliable person, Tommy, please.”

Sizemore is survived by his brother Paul Sizemore; his twin sons, Jagger and Jayden Sizemore; and his partner, Janelle McIntire.

Ray Liotta, the voice actor for Tommy Vercetti, also passed away this year, on May 26, 2022. Liotta also died in his sleep, during production of the film Dangerous Waters in the Dominican Republic.
