Actor Lima Duarte, 92, ran over a motorcyclist three days ago, who ended up breaking five bones and is hospitalized in serious condition at a hospital in São Paulo. This Monday (6), the artist commented on the accident.
In a note sent to the press, the artist explained that he did provide first aid to the motorcyclist, denying the information that he had been negligent with the accident.
“After the collision, I immediately provided the necessary assistance to the motorcyclist and waited for the police to arrive. My priority was to ensure that the motorcyclist received the necessary assistance and that the situation was treated as seriously as possible”, he said. The text was published by the site Extra.
Lima Duarte also commented that he is a conscientious, responsible driver who seeks to respect traffic laws. “I am deeply sorry for what happened and I am available to help with the investigation and provide additional clarification, if necessary,” he said.
The victim, however, revealed on social networks that she is admitted to the hospital and has not received any support from the actor so far.
“I’m here at the hospital, without assistance. I’m here at Santa Casa, hospitalized. So far I don’t have any answers when I’m going to operate and what kind of operation would be. , which was the day of the accident, with MRI and everything, showing all the injuries I had”, he said in conversation with the website “Em Off”.
