After a big meal
If you’ve just filled your belly and you’re full, it’s not wise to drink an entire glass of water. You’re just adding extra stuff to a full stomach, which can make you feel bloated and tummy ache because the water doesn’t get into your stomach properly.
Directly after exercising

But you can’t replenish the important nutrients you “lost” during this exercise, such as sodium and potassium, by simply drinking water. You better drink something like coconut water.
When you have already drunk a lot of water
