Police end investigation of Fortuner driver Giorgio Ramadhanin case of tampering Honda Brio car in Senopati, Jsouthern roots. With the case being stopped, now Giorgio Ramadhan has no obligation to report himself to the South Jakarta Metro Police.
“There is no (any obligation), the case has been closed,” said South Jakarta Metro Police Public Relations Head AKP Nurma Dewi when contacted by journalists, Monday (6/3/2023).
AKP Nurma Dewi explained that investigators had issued an Investigation Termination Warrant (SP3) as of February 23, 2023. Nurma said Giorgio Ramadhan would also compensate for all losses.
“Because they filed restorative justice, Then restorative justiceit is acceded because indeed the conditions are complete. Peace, compensation, they have a deal then the others according to that. It’s already SP3,” explained Nurma.
Previously, the victim, Ari Widianto, withdrew his report to the police. The victim agreed to make peace after receiving compensation and an apology from Giorgio Ramadhan.
The reason for the Brio driver withdrawing the report
The driver of the Brio car, Ari Widianto, whose car was damaged by the driver of the Fortuner car, Giorgio Ramadhan, withdrew his report. Ari and Giorgio have agreed to make peace.
Ari said he had agreed to make peace with Giorgio. Ari also proposed restorative justice to the South Jakarta Police. Ari Widianto revealed his reasons for withdrawing the report. One of them is because Giorgio Ramadhan has apologized.
“As for the reason, he (Giorgio) has good intentions and has apologized to me and my family, Brother Giorgio, and also an agreement that Brother Giorgio will not repeat his actions,” Ari told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday (17/2) ).
Ari said Giorgio also promised to compensate for the losses he suffered from the destruction of his car. However, Ari did not specify the nominal value of compensation offered by Giorgio Ramadhan.
“And Giorgio will compensate for the damage I suffered at that time. I will not mention (total) losses here. What is clear is that Giorgio is willing to compensate for the damage,” he said.
Ari also thanked the people who have supported him so far. The revocation of this report, said Ari, was for humanitarian reasons.
“I thank the people for their support. I do this purely for humanitarian reasons,” he said.
