A man breathed his last hours after taking two Viagra pills at once, which caused him to suffer a fatal stroke.
The incident in India caused an uproar, after the death of the 41-year-old man after taking two pills of “Viagra”, which was made mainly to expand the arteries, but it is also used to enhance the sexual ability of men.
Medical reports revealed that the man took the drug while intoxicated, which led to high blood pressure, which caused a stroke and death.
The man briefly experienced a severe headache and vomiting the next morning, then his condition deteriorated and he was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Doctors disclosed the details of his autopsy in the Forensic Medicine Journal, where they found that he had suffered a cerebrovascular hemorrhage, according to the British Daily Mail.
Pandit, forensic pathologist at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Jay Narayan, said post-mortem examinations revealed a 300-gram mass of clotted blood inside the man’s brain.
This type of stroke occurs when a blood vessel in the brain bursts.
