LIVE Techno – The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is working with the US Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and Russia (Roscosmos) on a science experiment that will hopefully help ensure humans may one day inhabit the planet Mars, according to the Mohammed Bin Rashid Department of Aerospace Engineering (MBRSC) ) Senior Director Amer AlGhaferi.
“We did a lot of science experiments with Roscosmos and also with NASA on analog missions to make sure that we can get humans to live on Mars,” said AlGhaferi at NASA’s Kennedy Center in Florida.
Another thing they are doing is building international cooperation at the organizational level, and looking for more partners to know and cooperate on that, quoting from the Sputnik News page, Monday, March 6, 2023.
They want to take it step by step with the long term goal of eventually reaching and inhabiting Mars.
“Maybe we won’t be here when that happens. But we have to make sure that what we give to the next generation is something that will benefit them,” he added.
AlGhaferi also said that they will focus on launching the first rover which is expected to land on the Moon at the end of April.
