Russia is preparing visa facilitation agreements with six countries, including India, Syria and Indonesia. This was reported to TASS by State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Yevgeny Ivanov.
“In addition to India, the development of draft intergovernmental agreements involving visa facilitation on a reciprocal basis is being carried out with Angola, Vietnam, Indonesia, Syria and the Philippines,” the deputy minister said.
Ivanov said earlier that Russia is also preparing intergovernmental agreements on visa-free travel with 11 countries. Among them are Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bahamas, Barbados, Haiti, Zambia, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Trinidad and Tobago.
