These places offer free meals and pantries in New York

This, according to the economist Aquiles Larrea, came at the worst time for families given the increase in the prices of the basic basket.

“Prices have gone up a lot, eggs, fuel, mortgages… but also for a family every day it is a constant struggle to get enough money to buy the basics,” he said.

However, there are programs in New York that provide support with food, pantry and food for babies for free or at low cost.
