The technician of Resende, Sandro Sargentimcomplained a lot about the organization of the game against Botafogo before the ball rolls this Sunday (5/3), in Cariacica, for the duel valid for the 10th round of the Carioca Championship-2023. The club from the south of the state is the principal, accepted to play in Espírito Santo, but ended up hampered by the logistics of displacement.
– Our preparation was totally misrepresented. Botafogo had a two-hour flight and we had an 11-hour flight. We left Resende at 2 pm and arrived here at 1 am. We agreed to come here with the condition that we had the same logistics, but I had a flight with three stopovers and Botafogo came straight. Botafogo traveled on a chartered flight, arriving in Vitória on Saturday night. Glorioso needs a victory to return to the G-4 – depending on other results -, while Resende fell to last place with the victory of Good view over the New Iguaçuentering the relegation zone.
