A child sparked controversy on social media, after he tried to provoke Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo by saying, “Messi is much better than you.”
And the Spanish newspaper “Marca” said that a child faced the “Don”, while leaving the match of his team Al-Nasr, on Friday, in front of Al-Batin, and told him in the corridor leading to the dressing room: “Messi is much better than you.”
And a video clip, circulating on Twitter, showed how Ronaldo, 38, ignored the attempt to provoke, and in return, he shouted because of his dissatisfaction with how the match went, and said, “It was an easy match, it was an easy match.”
And media reports circulated that the former Manchester United star responded to the child by saying: “If you go and see him … why are you here?”, but the original video does not show that, according to what “Marca” revealed.
Al-Nasr defeated Al-Batin, 3 goals to one, for the 19th week of the Saudi Roshan League. Cristiano did not score during this match.
It is noteworthy that since his arrival to Al-Nassr in late December, Ronaldo has scored 8 goals, so far, in the Saudi League, thus ranking sixth in the scorers’ ranking.
