Apple offices are located not only in America, but also in Europe. The company has announced that it will invest another billion dollars in the German development center.
The new investment is intended to design and build a new development center where Apple’s team can come together and work on innovation. Munich is home to research and development teams whose work is critical to creating products with better performance, efficiency and energy savings. It is about the development of Apple processors.
The new expansion of the Munich center will allow more than 2,000 employees to work together on processor design, power management chips, as well as future wireless technologies. In connection with the new investments, Apple will occupy more buildings, and Germany is already and will become the main development center of the company in Europe.
Apple has stated that over the past five years in Germany, the company has already invested more than 18 billion euros in 800 German companies. Of course, this is not too much of a surprise, since Germany is one of the largest countries and economies in the European Union.
