Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Coordinating Minister for the Economy Airlangga Hartarto revealed that the government will provide social assistance (bansos) to poor people in the near future. The assistance is in the form of basic materials.
“The government yesterday decided that the government would provide rice assistance for 3 months, as well as egg and chicken assistance, and this is being regulated,” said Airlangga in the 2023 National Food Control Movement (GNPIP) Kick Off, Sunday (5/3/23) ).
Currently the government is brewing who the people deserve to receive. However, Airlangga leaked that one of them was a recipient of government assistance from a pre-existing program, namely the Family Hope Program (PKH).

“It will be given in 3 months, especially for those who receive PKH and non-cash assistance, it is hoped that this will run for 3 months, this social assistance will be given in March April and May,” he said.
In addition, the government also plans to hold a survey this month. The poverty rate is threatened to increase due to high inflation in recent months, especially after the government raised the price of fuel oil (BBM).
“And also in March there will be a poverty survey so that it is hoped that it can withstand inflation so that poverty does not increase,” said Airlangga.
