Jakarta –
Suzuki introduces the latest Jimny model for the Australian market. Carrying the name New Suzuki Jimny Heritage, this car uses a classic livery and is sold in a limited number of 300 units only for the Kangaroo Country market.
In appearance, the Suzuki Jimny Heritage displays retro motif stickers on the body. The design is quite simple, only in the form of red and orange lines that are on the body and then extends to the rear trunk door.
Then to emphasize its classic impression, Suzuki also embedded the phrase ‘Jimny Heritage’ along with a silhouette of a rhinoceros. This livery is said to be inspired by the 1970-1990 model year.
These classic decals are then combined with a choice of White, Jungle Green, Medium Gray and Bluish Black Pearl exterior colors. Another nostalgic look is a red mudflap with white ‘Suzuki’ written on it, while 15-inch alloy wheels and LED headlamps remain standard.
This limited edition Suzuki Jimny still carries several features from the general version, such as a steering wheel wrapped in leather material, a 7-inch infotainment system with navigation, a reverse camera, a two-speaker audio system, climate control, cruise control, AEB and lane departure warning.
Under the bonnet is a 1.5-liter N/A engine that develops 101 hp (75 kW / 102 PS) and 96 lb-ft (130 Nm) of torque. Power is channeled to all four wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox with the AllGrip Pro transmission system.
