Meghan Markle and Prince Harry couldn’t be happy in the UK. Now it became known why.
In 2018, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle received a wonderful wedding gift. Beloved grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, gave the couple a mansion in Windsor, which was previously used as staff housing – Frogmore Cottage. Naturally, the house in which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were supposed to live happily was reconstructed at the expense of taxpayers. From an old structure, Frogmore Cottage has evolved into a luxurious five-bedroom home with insanely expensive and eco-friendly interiors and furnishings.
Harry and Meghan lived in Frogmore for only five months. In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped down as senior members of the royal family and moved to Canada and then the US.
Interior designer and feng shui consultant Suzanne Roynon says Frogmore Cottage is the wrong place to live for anyone. This house is saturated with negative energy, the expert says. Roynon recalled that it was after moving into the mansion that Prince Harry’s relationship with his wife entered a crisis phase. In addition, in parallel, there was a split in the royal family, against which the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were forced to leave the UK. Frogmore Cottage made Meghan and Harry feel tense and stressed. The couple lived in a real nightmare.
“The energy of the home can make or break a family if it doesn’t provide the balance and harmony that spouses need. Ownership that is “harmful to people” can lead to divorce, illness, emotional and mental health issues, and feelings of complete overwhelm, as if the whole world is “out to get you.” I imagine the tension this created and the impact on their well-being eventually led to their painful decision to go abroad to build a new life first and foremost as individuals,” the expert said.
It is worth noting that a few days ago, King Charles III decided to leave the Duke and Duchess of Sussex without their Frogmore cottage in Windsor. In an empty house, the monarch wanted to settle his younger brother, Prince Andrew.
