Coach Julian Nagelsmann from Bayern Munich will not play Benjamin Pavard in the Bundesliga game at VfB Stuttgart and instead wants to play his eleven for the cracker in the Champions League against Paris St. Germain. The French national soccer player is suspended in the round of 16 second leg on Wednesday and is therefore initially on the bench at VfB (6.30 p.m. / Sky).
Dayot Upamecano is the only newcomer in Munich’s starting XI after beating Union Berlin 3-0 last weekend. The defense chief, still blocked against the capitals, returns to the back four for Pavard. Croatian international Josip Stanisic defends on the right as against Union.
VfB coach Bruno Labbadia also makes only one change: Dan-Axel Zagadou comes on for the suspended Borna Sosa after the 2-1 loss at Schalke 04.
