From Lier 04.03.2023 – In the green area on Burgemeester Crezeelaan near the bicycle tunnel, residents are experiencing increasing nuisance from migrant workers.
One of the local residents says:
‘The residents of De Lier are gradually getting tired of migrant workers using the Kloosterslop green strip as a public cafe. It is a quiet area where alcohol is prohibited. The signs make it clear in several languages and pictograms that alcohol, drugs and noise are not allowed.
It is also a footpath, but these signs are not respected either. Now that urinating in public and inappropriate language towards passers-by also seems to have become a new activity, the question is when the municipality of Westland will offer a constructive solution for this.’
