Microsoft increases Bing chatbot limits again

Microsoft has been slowly increasing the limits of Bing Chat, allowing users to have longer conversations on it again. And today the company returns to reveal a new increase.

From now on, Bing Chat users can get up to eight responses per conversation within it – taking into account that the previous value was found in six responses. This will be the new threshold that users must follow before having to clear the conversation and start a new thread.

At the same time, the company also revealed some changes to the chatbot interface, with the value of the response now appearing where the user is located, which allows you to more quickly identify how many responses have already been sent. When the limit is reached, a red signal indicates that you have reached the end – and that you will have to clear the conversation.

It should be remembered that Microsoft decided to implement these limits after verifying that, in longer conversations, AI can sometimes end up confusing the topics, leading to uncertain answers or completely off topic. Gradually the company has been increasing the limits, but it is expected that these will still apply for some time.

It should be noted that the limit of 100 responses per day is still being applied, and users who reach this limit need to wait 24 hours before they can use Bing Chat again.

Bing Chat is still in the testing phase, and is currently only available to users accepted into the testing program. Slowly, Microsoft has also increased the vacancies available to access the new platform – which the company hopes will become part of the future of Bing and other platforms like Windows.
