For this March 4, 59 new infections of Covid-19 and one death due to this virus are reported in the state.
With these new figures, the State Committee for Health Safety and Health Services reports 245,838 total cases.
In Sanitary Jurisdiction I, 53 of the new cases were detected; two, in the Sanitary Jurisdiction II of Matehuala; one, in the Sanitary Jurisdiction III of Villa de Pozos; one, in the Sanitary Jurisdiction IV of Rioverde; one, in the Sanitary Jurisdiction V of Ciudad Valles; one in people residing in another Entity, while in the health jurisdictions, VI of Tamazunchale and VII of Tancanhuitz there are no new infections.
The number of deaths in the State is 7,686 when registering a new death, which corresponds to a 71-year-old woman without a vaccination schedule against Covid-19 and with diabetes, kidney disease and hypertension as risk factors. Regarding the studies of new cases, 36 are women and 23 men in an age range of 7 months to 76 years.
Hospitalization for Covid-19 is at two percent, with seven people hospitalized, none of whom require assisted breathing.
