He pointed out, in a previous tweet, that studies have shown that intermittent fasting breaks insulin resistance and improves blood sugar and cumulative sugar levels in many patients with type 2 diabetes, and he said: “You fast for 16 hours without eating, and you can only drink water – possibly from 8 at night to 12 noon – it has 11 benefit”.
