Twitter’s paid subscription “Twitter Blue” is now also available in Latvia

Twitter’s paid subscription, Twitter Blue, was officially launched in June 2021. All this time it was only available in a few countries, including the USA, Canada, Great Britain, etc. However, the company recently announced quite unexpectedly that it is expanding the availability of the subscription and now it can be used in more than 20 new countries directly in Europe, including Latvia.

Twitter Blue is now available in European countries such as: Netherlands, Poland, Ireland, Belgium, Sweden, Romania, Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Croatia, Luxembourg , Malta and Cyprus. But in general, the subscription is active in more than 35 countries of the world. The service fee in most European countries, including Latvia, is 11 euros per month. This applies to both Android and iOS users. On the other hand, the fee for the whole year is 114.99 euros.

Twitter Blue subscribers get access to a variety of exclusive features and opportunities. For instance:

  • Correct and withdraw your records;
  • Store useful content;
  • Custom app navigation;
  • The special reading mode, which allows you to read longer records more comfortably;
  • Upload longer videos;
  • Less advertising;
  • Insert longer entries up to 4000 characters (usually max 280 characters);

  • Ability to verify your account and get a blue badge;
