One of the users suggested that this bug occurs if the player breaks furniture, and is saved at the same moment, so the game does not have time to count the damage and causes such an effect on the next load. In the long term, attempts to “get out” spoil autosaves, and therefore users recommend saving manually more often, rather than fighting the “element”, and immediately restarting the game.
