Motorcyclist dies after being hit

In the province of Camagüey, a motorcyclist sadly lost his life during the course of yesterday, Thursday, March 2, after being hit by a car on the Central Highway.

According to the information supplied by Cuban Time on social networks, the fateful traffic accident occurred specifically in front of the community of Los Leones, in Sibanicú.

It turned out that the deceased responded to the name of Miguel Diéguez Bacallao, who could not bear the severe injuries caused by the accident.

“A motorist was hit by a car on the Central Highway. The event occurred in front of the community of Los Leones, in Sibanicú, Camagüey. The victim’s name was Miguel Diéguez Bacallao.”reads the report.

Inhabitants of that area of ​​Camagüey told the aforementioned outlet that, to top it all off, the driver of the homicidal vehicle, who was accompanied at that time, decided to flee after the event.

Later, the car appeared abandoned in an area of ​​the highway, where they discovered that it had a tourism license plate.

According to the words of a witness, the car was stolen and, before the fatal accident, it was being used to transport sugar.

Cuban Internet users, after what happened, lamented the death of the motorist, and expressed their concern both for the violence and for the indolence that increases every day in every corner of the territory of the largest of the Antilles.

“How sad, Camagüey, continues to pay victims and increase its violence. God have mercy on us”opined Maydelin Gonzalez.

In this way, the number of deaths on Cuban roads increases with the passing of the days, a statistic that does not stop generating concern in all the inhabitants, since it is important to remember that accidents are one of the main causes of death in the country.
