The company stated that it provided Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors with the new technology, and licensed the technology at the GSMA, and it is expected that these processors will be introduced in some leading phones this year.
According to experts at Qualcomm, the iSIM technology requires only 1 square millimeter of space in the device, and this space is much smaller than that occupied by current eSIM technologies, and the new technology can be integrated into processors directly, which will make it desirable by smart device manufacturers.
