DUBAI, 3rd March, WAM / H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, “Dubai Culture” and a member of the Dubai Council, visited the eleventh edition of the “Sikka Art and Design Festival”, one of the most prominent creative art events it hosts. Dubai, which is held this year under the slogan “Creativity Renewed on the Same Track” in the “Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood”, one of #Dubai_Destinations, and within the #Dubai_Art_Season.
Her Highness toured the festival, during which she was briefed on a number of events, projects, artworks and creations that reflect the development of the creative scene in Dubai and its cultural diversity. Her Highness also met with a number of participating artists, praising their level of creativity, and the distinction of their artistic visions and creative ideas.

The festival offers its visitors unique creative experiences vibrant with the spirit of heritage, as it provides the opportunity to explore many landmarks of the Al Fahidi Historical Neighborhood, one of Dubai’s ancient destinations, to gather in every corner a group of aesthetic elements, belonging to various types of arts, throughout the days of the festival.
More than 188 creators from the UAE and the Gulf region and their residents are participating in this year’s edition of the Sikka Art and Design Festival, all of whom worked to develop and be inspired by their artistic works inspired by the festival’s slogan “Creativity renewed on the same track”. It includes artworks, installations, murals, various creative exhibitions, and various events and activities that take place in an inspiring atmosphere, and reflect the richness of Dubai’s art scene and its creative capabilities and components.
