At the invitation of the fire brigade, 19 interested parties were instructed in first aid measures.
In order to be able to help in an emergency, the Jahrings fire department invited the population to an eight-hour first aid course on February 24th and 25th at the Jahrings fire station.
For the second time, FF Jahrings, together with the Red Cross Zwettl, organized a first aid course in which not only fire brigade members but also the general public could take part. On two evenings, Phillipp Kerschbaum from the Red Cross Zwettl gave the 19 participants an understanding of the most important first aid and accident prevention measures. With many practical exercises, first aid in emergencies was trained with adults and children.
In the hope of never having to use what he had learned, the organizer, Reinhold Pollak, the clerk for the fire brigade medical service, thanked him for his great interest. A big thank you to Phillipp Kerschbaum for the professional and practice-oriented training!
