A number of public sector employees who deposit their monthly salaries in Byblos Bank have complained that, until now, they have not been able to withdraw them from the bank’s ATMs.
When they reviewed the main branch of the bank to inquire about the reason for the delay in withdrawing their salaries, his argument was that he was waiting to give him the final price of the dollar on the “exchange” platform from the Banque du Liban. Note that their colleagues who settle their pensions in other banks have received their dues at the end of February. The employees appealed to the bank management to expedite the release of their dues.
