Three Galaxies Will Collide, Really? Here’s the explanation

TULUNGAGUNG MEDIA – NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope recently spotted three galaxies on a collision course.

As information that the galaxies in the constellation Bootes eventually merged into a new galaxy that is much larger.

In the process of forming new galaxies, these three galaxies will inevitably lose their spiral structure.

This is due to the gravitational interaction between them.

Although collisions between galaxies are common, this case is very rare. This is because these three colliding galaxies will then form and give birth to new stars.

The photos, taken by NASA, were taken with Hubble’s Wide-Angle Camera 3 and Advanced Camera for Surveys. This technique is believed to help astronomers gain insight into the formation of galaxies in the universe.

SDSSCGB 10189, this is the name of three colliding galaxies. In the captured photo, the shape of the galaxy appears distorted, with strands of gas and dust merging. Galaxies also seem to emit a lot of light.

Additionally, SDSSCGB 10189 is considered a relatively rare combination, 50,000 light years away. Although it sounds far, it turns out that the distance is actually not the case.
