As the editors of eXtra.cz already informed, the former queen of children’s hearts Dagmar Patrasová (66) showed herself in a not exactly flattering form on Sunday in the live broadcast of Weekend Breakfast on Nova. While some criticize the television for inviting the artist at all, eXtra.cz sources from the staff speak clearly. “No one expected the state in which he would come. She was being helped, otherwise it would have been an even bigger scandal,” he tells us.
Dagmar Patrasová: Shameful Breakfast
The singer and actress Dagmar Patrasová has a rich and successful career behind her, so it was logical that TV Nova would also invite her to its program Weekend Breakfast, in which there are pleasant conversations with well-known guests.
Dada herself has not performed anywhere properly for a long time, so some might have thought that the talk about her alleged alcoholism, which was often spoken by her still-husband Felix Slováček, was exaggerated. But then what was the surprise for the less ardent readers of social sites when Patrasová came to Nova in a state that broke the hearts of her fans.
She was slurred and didn’t speak clearly. Viewers in discussions (for example, on our website) are clear: according to them, she should not have been completely sober.
Witness: Nova saved Dada, it could have been worse
But there are also those among them who criticize the television for the fact that it should have known in what state it is and not invite her at all.
“That’s nonsense. No one could have guessed that. No one lives with her. How many times has she given an interview in recent times and he was head and heels. We could not have expected that she would come in the state in which she finally arrived. Here it was even discussed that he can talk, that he is a professional and that things can be interesting with her,” claimed one of our reliable sources from Nova from the close vicinity of the crew that prepares the weekend show for eXtra.cz.
“And for those who were more skeptical, it was comforting that she wasn’t invited until almost noon, so it was expected that she would be in better shape than if it had been in the morning. But when she arrived there was incredible stress because Dada… it was just clear that if she didn’t intervene, if we didn’t save her, it was going to be a colossal mess,” adds another informant.

“Moderators Pavel Svoboda and Miluše Bittnerová ended up with each other they agreed to more or less say it for her, and hats off to their professionalism that when they got a nonsensical answer, they acted like it was nothing, like they got the most logical response under the sun. They played the whole thing in the car so that Dáda’s condition was not so obvious,” the sources continue.
“Obviously, most of the viewers have noticed how our guest is doing, but believe me it was much worse behind the scenes and on location in the studio than what viewers saw on TV. In the end, it is sad that Ms. Patras was obviously happy to be on the air, but for herself, being on the show will have a bad response. But we really couldn’t have guessed that in advance, otherwise we really wouldn’t have invited her. No one wanted to hurt her, we love her,” added our source from the creative team.
