Ryanair is the latest airline to offer discounted one-way fares as it launches a series of flights from Newcastle International Airport for less than £20. Its low price gives passengers the opportunity to travel across Europe before seasonal price increases.
From Newcastle Airport, passengers can travel to countries such as Latvia, Poland, Spain and Portugal for £15.99 in March. The same routes will cost passengers up to £300 one way if purchased during the upcoming Easter or summer holidays.
Ryanair is a popular budget airline where travelers can often find tickets for as little as £10 one way depending on the dates, however popular holidays and bank holidays push prices up. First in Gran Canaria Canary Islands A popular destination in March thanks to its warm weather and year-round beaches. The cheapest March flight drops to £17.99 on Wednesday 29 March, and return flights can be found days later starting from £22. Total return costs are £39 less than the £400 return ticket in late July/August (which is over £400 per person).
The cheapest flight from Newcastle is Gdańsk in Polandwhich is priced at £15.99 per ticket on Sunday 12 March or 19 March. Riga, Latvia March offers are also listed, starting from £16.99 each way on March 9. Return flights are also cheaper, and travelers can return from Latvia for just £15 one-way, bringing the total price to £32.98 per adult.
