Telltale wants to deliver, but also think about its employees.
Started waiting for another sequel The Wolf Among Us when the last part was released, this year they have been waiting for nine years. However, there will be no release The Wolf Among Us 2 this year, as developer Telltale Games announced via Twitter that they need more time.
There they write that the decision to delay the game “out of 2023” is a difficult one. They want to deliver the sequel that fans deserve, but at the same time have to think about the health of their developers. They are of course referring to the “crunch” phenomenon, where employees have to work overtime for long periods to meet deadlines. Furthermore, they have shifted from Unreal Engine 4 to 5, which has required some work.
The Wolf Among Us 2 will take place six months after the first game, and we will once again follow the cop Bigby Wolf as he tries to keep all the fairy tale characters in order. Check out the trailer that was released last year here.
