Metz. Aperitif conference this Thursday with the architect and teacher Julian Pierre

After a first remarkable visit to the Royal Royal in Nancy, Julian Pierre will develop his photos and anecdotes during an aperitif-conference on the theme Architecture and photography: looks, assemblies and photography this Thursday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m., at Le P’tit Local bar, in Metz.

If photography and architecture sometimes walk in the same spaces of expression, it is for their ability to appear in symmetry with each other. The first is often perceived as the sublimation of the second, because it is a look, a distanced but aesthetic vision, a sensitive mirror.

From his expertise in CAUE (Council of architecture, urban planning and the environment), Julian Pierre endeavors to understand this global vision of architecture, of a building or of an ecology. And from his artistic experience, under the caps of the teacher at the Esal (Higher School of Art of Lorraine) or the photographer, he draws a reflection on these looks brought to the first of the arts, and how to assemble them, and how expose, since he did, the interactions concealed by their symmetry.
