Jakarta –
PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) decided to postpone the match Persija Jakarta vs Persib Bandung. The decision was taken because the Kemayoran Tigers could not play according to schedule.
This match was originally scheduled to be held on Saturday (4/3/2023). However, the Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium in Bekasi City and the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) cannot be used on that date.
“PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) conveyed the status of the BRI League 1-2022/2023 NP competition. 249 between Persija Jakarta vs Persib Bandungwhich was supposed to be held on March 4, 2023 at 15.00 WIB, was postponed and will be rescheduled,” wrote the LIB letter signed by Inspector General Pol. (P). Drs. Sudjarno as LIB’s Director of Operations.
“For information, the new match schedule will be submitted by LIB later via a separate letter,” the letter continued.
Meanwhile, in Persija’s statement, the postponement of the match was decided after the management of Macan Kemayoran submitted a request for rescheduling to LIB. This is because the Kemayoran Tigers cannot use the two proposed stadiums as team headquarters.
At Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, Persija did not get permission from local security. Meanwhile, the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta, cannot be used by the Kemayoran Tigers.
The police explained that SUGBK could not be used because it had already been ordered by another party. As is known, there will be a group concert from South Korea, Blackpinkwhich uses the national stadium, next week.
“The reason comes from the GBK Senayan Main Stadium, Central Jakarta, because the organizing committee for the Korean music show Blackpink has already been booked and they have started building the stage,” said the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Trunoyudo Wisnu Andik, in a press forum.
