Apart from the judicial investigation, the Growing Up Agency had already decided yesterday to temporarily suspend the childminder. All those involved were informed today. “We really do this as a precaution,” says spokesperson Nele Wouters.
“Because it is a serious injury and the situation has a lot of impact on everyone involved. We now want to give everyone time to recover. We also don’t know exactly what happened yet. That is why we have decided to temporarily suspend until we have more information.”
For the time being, it does not appear that complaints had already been received by the Growing Up Agency about the childminder.
