China is increasing the range of cars supplied to Russia. And now experts are talking not only about the growth of competition in the passenger car market. In the publication “Behind the wheel” they wondered if the Russian Gazelle was going to die after the invasion of a competitor – the Dongfeng Captain-T truck.

The Russian market will receive two modifications of Dongfeng Captain-T – 2.5 and 3.5 tons. That is, the first version will be able to move freely around the territory of Moscow, performing small-sized cargo transportation.
Among the shortcomings of the Dongfeng Captain-T and the advantages of the Russian Gazelle, experts call only too much fuel consumption. But a Chinese truck with a gross weight of 2.5 tons is in practice capable of transporting a ton more.
