ABU DHABI, 28th February, 2020 (WAM) — More than 50 Chinese companies are participating in the Chinese Industrial Products Exhibition, which will be held in the model area for Chinese-UAE industrial cooperation in the Kizad Group, from March 7-9.
This came during a press conference held today in Abu Dhabi, in the presence of Fatima Al Hammadi, CEO – Commercial Affairs – Kizad Group, Eng. Foreign Cooperation and Investment (JOSEC) and Zhou Yongang, general manager of JOSEC, and a number of officials.
The exhibition, which is organized by the Chinese Jiangsu Foreign Cooperation and Investment Company “JOSEC” in cooperation with the Abu Dhabi Ports Group and Abu Dhabi Customs, is an ideal platform to enhance the presence of leading companies in the field of Chinese industrial products and allow them to conclude deals and consolidate their network of relations with the main players and potential customers in the region. The exhibition attracts a group of visitors, including senior government officials in the UAE, major investment institutions, international diplomatic delegations, CEOs, executives and investors, with the aim of highlighting promising investment opportunities in new economies and beyond.
The importance of this exhibition comes in building economic and trade partnerships and enhances the role of the UAE as a distribution center and a main starting point for Chinese industrial products for the countries of the region, promoting trade growth, promoting foreign direct investment and the rapid economic recovery of the Middle East region.

The exhibition covers wide sectors of industries and products through a very wide range of high-efficiency Chinese services and products such as “advanced industries, metals, petroleum equipment, technical services, electric vehicles, heavy machinery, products of the renewable energy sector, environmental technology, and building and architecture services.”
Fatima Al Hammadi said that the Kizad Group includes more than 30 Chinese companies operating in various strategic industrial sectors, adding that the Chinese Industrial Products Exhibition, which includes more than 50 Chinese companies, would contribute to introducing the investment environment provided by the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the advanced infrastructure and the ease of doing business.
For his part, Engineer Khaled Al Marzouqi said that Abu Dhabi Customs provides a set of strategic services that rely on digital technologies and artificial intelligence in order to develop work, facilitate customs inspections and complete transactions quickly and accurately, noting that the volume of non-oil trade exchange between Abu Dhabi and the Republic of China during the past year amounted to 16.6 billion. dirhams, which reflects the continuous growth in trade between the two friendly countries.
For his part, the General Manager of JOSEC said that the UAE-Chinese Cooperation Complex for Manufacturing Industries reflects the important compatibility and strength of relations between the two countries in terms of economic and trade aspects.
