Microsoft mistakenly offered Windows 11 upgrades to unsupported computers

Microsoft once again mistakenly offered a new upgrade to the Windows 11 operating system for computers, which is not supported by the physical capabilities to run the system, according to The Verge platform, on the topic that Al-Youm newspaper translated the most prominent of its contents.

The error was discovered this time by a technical account on the social networking site Twitter, called Phantom Ocean 3. The account pointed out the error that Microsoft had made, stating that it occurred while the company was presenting an explanatory advertisement to it, presenting the necessary requirements for the characteristics of the system, to address the presentation of the system on Unsupported devices.

Microsoft’s response

And Microsoft tried to remedy the matter, by saying that computers that do not meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11 will not be able to complete the new update.

Microsoft clarified in its response that what happened regarding the updates of some unqualified devices running Windows 10 did not meet the minimum requirements to run Windows 11, and the devices that encountered this problem were unable to complete the installation process of the serious update.

Similar problems

Microsoft faced a similar problem last year when it offered to upgrade (Windows 11) to computers that were not officially supported. But the surprise was that this accidental accident, and the mistake by the major American company, actually allowed many users and their unsupported computers to get the update.

Analysts say that Microsoft’s accidental error once again highlights the minimum hardware requirements for users, which makes updates controversial to Microsoft’s latest operating system.

Windows 11 requirements

Windows 11 officially requires more powerful CPUs, with very few exceptions, an 8th generation Intel iAuth Gen Coffee Lake or ZEN 2 or higher.

But this is not the full reality of the solutions, as there are unofficial solutions, and easier ways to install Windows 11, on unsupported CPUs, but Microsoft follows otherwise.

Additional improvements

This latest bug comes just weeks before observers expect Microsoft to introduce some additional improvements to Windows 11.

The Verge reported that in an update referred to internally at Microsoft as Moment 2, the company is preparing to add a full search box to the taskbar, improve search in the Start menu, and add an optimized taskbar for the tablet.
