The outbreak response immunization (ORI) vaccination program to deal with the Diphtheria Outbreak in Garut, targeted around 11,000 Garut residents.
The Vaccination Program (ORI), which has been going on since Monday (27/2), mostly targets residents in Pangatikan District, Garut Regency.
The Secretary of the Garut Health Service (Dinkes), Leli Yuliani, delivered the number of ORI vaccination suggestions.
He said to the media crew that this vaccination was targeting children in Pangatikan District, a location where many diphtheria cases were found.
Then Leli added, that the implementation of the ORI vaccination which targets around 11 thousand people could be carried out within the next week.
Apart from that, he also admitted that he could not confirm the number of targets that were successfully vaccinated considering that there were still residents who had to be persuaded to vaccinate.
