Dutchman arrested at Lisbon airport because of death in Amsterdam | General

A 25-year-old Dutchman was arrested on Monday at the airport in Lisbon. He may be involved in the death of a 21-year-old man who was found in a home in North Amsterdam on Sunday evening. According to the police, the found man was clearly the victim of a serious violent crime.

The victim lived with his parents and was found in the parental home. Witnesses say there was a fight in the house earlier in the evening.

The suspect could be arrested in Lisbon through a collaboration between the Royal Netherlands Marechaussee and the Portuguese authorities.

Police are still investigating and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
