A J-11 fighter jet of the Chinese Air Force chased the US aircraft at a distance of only 40 meters

Incidents of incursions into Chinese airspace are becoming more frequent

China intercepted a US warplane near the Paracel Islands.

This Friday, a dangerous incident occurred in the skies over the South China Sea between aircraft of the US Navy and the Chinese Air Force.

As it became known, an American military aircraft approached the limits of Chinese airspace, as a result of which a J-11 fighter jet of the Beijing Air Force was immediately dispatched to intercept it.

The latter immediately sent a warning to the crew of the American military aircraft that in the event of an attempt to further approach the borders of the PRC, actions will be taken to counter the organized provocation.

The Chinese fighter was armed with four air-to-air missiles and pursued the American intruder for several tens of kilometers, being in the tail of the American Boeing P-8A Poseidon aircraft at a distance of only 40 meters, periodically performing maneuvers around the aircraft, foreign agencies wrote.

“A Chinese J-11 fighter jet armed with four air-to-air missiles appeared on the tail of a US P-8 patrol plane, flew over it and landed several hundred feet from the wing of the US Navy aircraft. Clashes like the one over the South China Sea on Friday have become an almost daily occurrence and are becoming increasingly dangerous, US officials say.

The incident between the P-8 and the Chinese fighter jet occurred several tens of miles north of the Paracel Islands, which are claimed by China and Vietnam.

It should be noted that after some time the American plane was forced to abort its provocative mission.
