Alyaksandr Lukashenka denied statements about the possible occupation of Belarus by Russia until 2030.
Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenka reacted to the information released by analysts that Russia plans to completely absorb Belarus by 2030. Lukashenko stated that Belarus remains a sovereign and independent state.

“They just want to split us up again. Therefore, this topic arose. There is nothing alive in this. You know, my position is unchanged: we are an independent sovereign state,” Lukashenka said.
Lukashenka also assured that the strategies of Russia and Belarus are different.
“Do we have our own strategy? Yes. Does Russia have its own strategy? Yes. And Russia, in particular, has its own strategy with respect to Belarus – to live in peace and friendship, as with its brothers. 100%. I am in this “cauldron” I am completely cooking and participating in this,” Lukashenka summed up.
Alexander Lukashenko also stated that he did not believe that Ukraine can arrange a “provocation” in Transnistria.
Recall that in a report by the American Institute for the Study of War, analysts reported that Russia can occupy Belarus until 2030. They warned that NATO should seriously prepare for a possible scenario in which Russia completely controls Belarus.
