Coursan: Crédit Agricole supporting local associations

Recently, the local bank of Crédit Agricole des Basses Rives de l’Aude held its general meeting in the multipurpose room in front of more than 160 members, the president of the local bank Joël Gavanon, the president of the banks of Aude Jean-Claude Limouzy, the assistant to the sector director Laurent Gazeau, the financial director of the Regional Bank Jean-Noël Sappey and the mayor Édouard Rocher. A reminder of the initiatives carried out by the local bank, the vote on resolutions, the challenges and responsibilities as a bank in this turbulent context were on the program.

Of the 98 local mutuals in the territory of the regional mutual, more than 500 initiatives led by associations have been put in place.

On our territory, the fund has supported the CEP Danse sur Fleury-d’Aude which plans to share during the annual dance gala the creation of costumes and sets with the elders of the village and the retirement home of Salles-d’ Aude. It also supported the 24 h of Saint-Pierre, to sick children, to the race of the 5 bell towers, to the association La Bonne Entente Salloise, to the EFSC XV, to the ATP Fleury as well as to the Tamaritiens and the 4L Trophy. The fund also took part in the Gaffarots evening and Pink October.

After Jean-Noël Sappey’s speech on the impact of the crisis on the banking landscape, the evolution of savings rates and loan rates, the latter reaffirmed : Crédit Agricole’s support for the transitions we are experiencing, on consumption, production, economic, ecological and agricultural transitions, the need to better protect the environment and populations in fragile situations “.

The general meeting ended around a buffet dinner during which the debates continued.
