Russian tennis players Veronika Kudermetova and Lyudmila Samsonova won the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tournament in Dubai.
Kudermetova and Samsonova defeated the duet from Taiwan Chan Haoching and Chan Latisha with a score of 6:4, 6:7 (4:7), 10:1 in the final match. The meeting lasted 2 hours and 4 minutes.
Russian tennis player wins tournament in Austria
Samsonova is ranked 13th in the ranking of the best tennis players on the planet, Kudermetova is in 11th place.
For Samsonova, this title was the first in pairs, for Kudermetova – the sixth.
The prize fund of the tournament in Dubai amounted to $2.7 million.
