And the agency added, in a tweet with a video attached, on its Twitter website, on Saturday evening, that “Al-Neyadi will launch to the International Space Station as part of the Crew-6 team’s mission aboard the Dragon ship,” affiliated with “SpaceX.”

The flight is scheduled to take off on February 27 at 10:45 am Emirates time, according to WAM.

In the video, the agency said, “The crew is scheduled to conduct more than 200 experiments during its stay in space, including new research, to prepare for human exploration beyond low Earth orbit.”

The agency confirmed that “this is the second mission that makes the UAE the 11th country that sends long-term missions to the International Space Station,” as part of the UAE space program’s efforts to enhance its presence in the fields of space exploration.
