PR DEPOK – Sinusitis is a respiratory disorder caused by excess mucus in the cavities of the sinus skull.
The cranial cavities in the face should be filled with air so that it is balanced.
These air cavities must be kept clean, but these cavities can become infected if exposed to bacteria or viruses.

Normally, the mucus can be drained through sinus irrigation.
However, in some conditions, due to an infection that is too heavy and the mucus that is too thick, the mucus is stuck in this sinus cavity.
There are 4 sinus cavities on the face, the frontal sinus which is located on the forehead, the ethmoidal sinus which is located at the corner of the eye near the bridge of the nose, the maxillary sinus which is located on the cheekbones, and the mandibular sinus which is located near the chin.
All of these sinus cavities are connected to one unit.
