News 24 | The Crown Prince crowns the winners of the Saudi Equestrian Cup races

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman sponsored this evening (Saturday) the “Saudi Cup” race ceremony, at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Square in Riyadh.

Upon his arrival, the Crown Prince was received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Equestrian Authority, Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Horse Racing Club and Chairman of the Technical Committees, Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan.

The royal anthem was played before the start of the race, after that the horses participating in the race moved from the saddling arena to the parade arena in a two-turn parade before the start of the race, and all the horsemen participating in the race were present in the parade arena, and then the eighth round began for the cup.

At the end of the race, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Hero Race, the owner of the Japanese horse “Ben Thalassa”, crowned the winner of the most valuable race award in the 2023 Saudi Cup. He also congratulated the horse coach, Yoshito Yahagi, and the horseman, Yutaka Yoshida, who received a horse model and a horse helmet, and memorial photos were taken on this occasion.

He arrived with the Crown Prince, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers Prince Turki bin Muhammad bin Fahd, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman, Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki, and Minister of the National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz.

The race ceremony was attended by the Prince of Riyadh, Prince Faisal bin Bandar, Prince Turki Al-Faisal, Prince Muhammad bin Fahd, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, Minister of Interior Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Nayef, and other princes and officials.

The ceremony was also attended by Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Authority of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club from the Kingdom of Bahrain, senior guests of the Saudi Cup ceremony from inside and outside the Kingdom and a number of participating horse owners.
