The match was held today, Saturday, in the second round of the final stage of the World Cup qualifiers, which is being held at the Al-Ittihad Club of Alexandria.
Egypt finished the first period late with a score of 24-14, while the second period ended with Cameroon advancing 44-25.
The Egyptian national team tried to reduce the score in the third period, as it ended with Cameroon leading 56-46, before the fourth period ended and the meeting ended with Cameroon winning 71/63.
Egypt’s national team qualified for the 2023 World Cup after defeating Tunisia 71-67 in the match that brought them together yesterday, Friday.
The Egyptian national team will conclude its matches in the World Cup qualifiers, by facing South Sudan at 7 pm tomorrow, Sunday.
