A 16-year-old girl was abducted and raped in Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. The girl who came to visit her sister was the victim of torture last night. In the incident, Shamir, a resident of Varkala Edawa, who is accused in several cases, was arrested by the Medical College police.
A shocking incident took place at the Medical College Hospital at 9:30 last night. A 16-year-old girl who was visiting her sister who was undergoing treatment was threatened and abducted in an auto. He was then taken to a secluded area and sexually assaulted. Then the accused left it in the Manjalikulam area and passed by.

The medical college police started an investigation after learning about the incident. The accused was reached after checking the CCTV footage. The photo taken by the girl of the autorickshaw was also crucial. Bombay Shameer, a native of Varkala Idawa and an accused in several criminal cases, was arrested by the police. He was arrested today when he came to SAT hospital with his wife.
Shamir was recently released after serving a prison sentence in the case of breaking an old woman’s necklace six months ago near Ullur. The police informed that Shamir is accused in 21 cases in Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram districts.
